Ashley Connolly is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private psychotherapy practice in Aspen, Colorado. Ashley has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and an undergraduate psychology degree from Northwestern University. She is in long-term recovery and has over 10 years of experience working in the mental health and recovery fields. She started offering her recovery coaching program after recognizing that the traditional therapeutic model of weekly therapy was often not intensive enough for clients new to recovery.
Ashley has experience working as an addictions counselor, grief counselor, certified domestic violence counselor, youth counselor, career counselor, academic counselor and crisis/emergency counselor. She has also received advanced training in transpersonal psychotherapy from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP).
Ashley’s approach to therapy is to integrate specific techniques from different modalities based on the needs and desires of the individual. Some of the therapeutic modalities she incorporate into the treatment process include: Client-Centered Therapy, Rational-Emotive Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Energy Psychology, and Transpersonal Therapy.
